Volunteer Program
Why Volunteer at MCPAWS?
Volunteering at MCPAWS is a wonderful way to make a direct impact on the quality of life of our shelter animals and meet new people. Volunteers are absolutely crucial to our success here at MCPAWS – after all, our organization was founded when a group of volunteers combined their strengths to step up for animals in need.
Whether your interests and schedule permit you to volunteer every week, once a month or a few times a year, you’ll find your time well-spent, quite rewarding and much appreciated.
Volunteer Meetings
Volunteer meetings are held quarterly, here at the shelter. Join us to learn more about what is happening at the shelter, and current volunteer needs and opportunities, ask questions, and network with your fellow volunteers. We’d love to see you! For questions about the volunteer program, please email Development Coordinator Megan Nash: mnash@mcpaws.org
Application Process
The MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter Volunteer Program is designed to allow interested, compassionate individuals the opportunity to become involved in and familiar with the shelter and its animals.
