Giving Tuesday

We all know Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is a day to give back. It is touted as a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world! Help MCPAWS raise funds for the cats and dogs on this day of philanthropy!

Capture the “purr”fect picture this holiday season with MCPAWS’ Santa Paws! Bring your pet for a photo with Santa and take home a digital or print copy of the image for just $5! All pets are welcome: dogs, cats, rabbits, and yes, even pigs! Just please be sure they are safely secured in a carrier or on a leash. Pets are welcome to pose alone or with the whole family!

Thanks to our amazing team of volunteers who organize this event, all proceeds from the photo sales directly benefit the cats and dogs at MCPAWS! We’d like to thank our volunteers and Barn Owl Books & Gifts for making this event possible.

Special thanks goes to Jane Pickens, “Santa Paws” played by Peter Pride, photographer Samantha Sais, McCall Party Rentals, Amy Cooper at Barn Owl Books & Gifts and many more to come!

Happy Howlidays from MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter!

Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Alpine Village in McCall

Join us for the most dog-gone fun event of Winter Carnival! Dogs will race on a short track while pulling a weighted sled. Dogs compete in different weight classes for Top Dog! The top three from each weight class get a prize. This event is just for fun, so no experience is necessary. All equipment is provided.

Want to race? Registration is just $15 per dog. The dog will need to be weighed at the time of registration, so be sure to bring your pooch! Registration is on on Sunday at Alpine Village from 10:45am-12:30pm.  Races end at 1pm.

Want to watch? This is a very fun event for spectators. Please keep in mind that spots up front get the best view, so be kind and rotate out so other folks get a chance to see.

Please PAWS for a resounding round of applause from MCPAWS to our community for your involvement in and support at the Monster Dog Pull and the Winter Carnival Parade.

MCPAWS Oktoberfest is happening the first Saturday of October at Ludwig Terrace in McCall, Idaho. Join us from noon to 6pm for live music, food, beer, craft and nonprofit vendors, and so much more!

All proceeds from Oktoberfest benefit the cats and dogs at MCPAWS.

Suggested donation of $15 for 21+. Kids are free!
