Lost and Found

Return to Owner Services:

• Stray animals brought to MCPAWS may be reclaimed during our normal business hours.
• If your pet is brought to the shelter as a stray outside of normal business hours, he or she will be available for return the next business day.
• There is a $40 Return to Owner Fee + $10 each day (not microchipped) to reclaim stray pets. If your pet is microchipped, we waive the first day’s fee.
• If your pet is at the shelter for more than 1 day, you may be charged an additional $10 fee for each day he or she is with us.
• If a stray is microchipped and goes home the same day they are brought to the shelter that fee may be WAIVED!
