More Ways to Make a Lasting Impact

Over the years, your pets have provided companionship, love, and comfort.
By naming MCPAWS in your Will or trust, you can express your dedication to the well-being of pets and the people who love them, in an incredibly meaningful way. There are many ways you can contribute to the MCPAWS Endowment Fund and we encourage you to consult your attorney in creating a plan that best fits your situation.

We can also accept donations from your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF). A DAF is like a charitable savings account: You contribute to the fund as frequently as you like and then recommend grants to your favorite charity while getting tax benefits.

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a wonderful option for people 70 ½ and older. That’s because it allows you to make a gift to the animals — from $100 to $108,000 — without the distribution counting as taxable income. This giving option is a direct contribution made from your traditional or Roth IRA to a public charity like MCPAWS, and it is a great option if you don’t normally itemize your charitable deductions.
