MCPAWS is looking for an experienced veterinarian to oversee our Veterinary Medicine Program. The goal of this program is to maximize the positive impact our organization has on pets and the people who love them through compassionate and comprehensive veterinary services.

The Position: Utilize a full service hospital to meet the unique veterinary needs of our community. The MCPAWS Veterinary Medicine Program is a unique blend of shelter medicine and full-service, private practice veterinary work. Administrative duties are covered and veterinary support staff is ready to help you focus your unique talents where they are needed most – with our two and four-legged clients! Thrift Store Cashier (Part Time)

Reports to: Thrift Store Manager

Purpose of Position: To be a friendly and courteous ambassador for MCPAWS Thrift Store, Animal Shelter, and Hospital.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers/donors with kindness and courtesy.
  2. Operate a Square system and cash register with accuracy.
  3. Answer telephone kindly and give accurate information or refer to manager or assistant manager.
  4. Work together with MCPAWS volunteers in a friendly and collaborative spirit.
  5. Maintain clean, fun, safe and tidy store environment.
  6. Work well and willingly with MCPAWS team.
  7. Put away newly priced inventory.
  8. Feed, water, love, and promote cat adoptions.
