Shelter Medicine Program Manager                 

Reports to:                        Executive Director

Schedule:                           Year Round/ Full-Time

Salary:                                $33,000 – $38,000


Purpose of Position

To oversee the Shelter Medicine program of MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter including working collaboratively with a licensed veterinarian to carry out routine and specialized care of shelter animals and ensure the overall health of shelter animals. Please send resume to Amber:

Veterinary Assistant

Reports to:                         Shelter Medicine Program Manager

Schedule:                           Part-Time – approximately 45 hours/month

Salary:                                $12/hour to start, with wage increases possible.  


Purpose of Position

The veterinary assistant will be responsible for assisting veterinary staff during surgical and exam procedures, performing various administrative tasks, and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in exam and operating rooms. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn new skills and develop their talents as an assistant. MCPAWS Thrift Store Full-Time Assistant Manager

Position Title:  MCPAWS Thrift Store Assistant Manager

Schedule: Full-time (weekends required)

Salary: $13 - $15/hour with Paid Time Off (accrual begins after 3 months employment)


Purpose of Position

This position requires an energetic and self-motivated person to assist the manager in the store’s daily operations. This position works directly with the General Manager to ensure excellent store performance and have the ability to direct and support staff and volunteers to ensure a safe, efficient, and profitable operation when the manager is not on duty.
